The Kaunertal Glacier is giving away to all snowboarders, skiers and freeskiers from October who arrive together and therefore under the sign of sustainability ummadum points. The points can be used in the Weißsee glacier restaurant and on the ski ticket directly at the Cash can be redeemed.
The main thing is sustainable!
ummadum is an app that rewards sustainable mobility! Rides can currently be requested or offered via the platform. Payment is made with ummadum points. After the joint journey, the points can be redeemed at ummadum partner companies such as MPREIS, Baguette or numerous cultural institutions and service providers in Tyrol. As part of the cooperation with the Snowpark Kaunertal, it is also possible to redeem it at the Weißsee glacier restaurant and for the ski ticket directly at the cash desk. From the beginning of next year, the startup will also reward those who cycle or walk.
Every kilometer shared is worth cash.
For each passenger, the driver receives points worth 8 cents per km. Drivers can therefore earn around EUR 8.5 per passenger for the route Innsbruck – Kaunertal Glacier. With full occupancy (3 people taken along) that is EUR 25.5. But the passenger is also rewarded with points worth 2 cents per km, i.e. around EUR 2 for the journey from Innsbruck. The car pool is also insured free of charge.
How does it work?
Scan the QR code, install the ummadum app and either offer or search for a ride. Very easily! And the best is? In addition, ummdum users make an important contribution to saving CO2, relieving the pressure on parking spaces at the Kaunertal Glacier and avoiding traffic jams. All you can really say is: what are you waiting for?
