THE LEGENDARY SPRING CLASSICS TIME IS BACK SOON!

The temperatures are rising, the snow is getting slushy, the season is coming to an end - our cue to experience epic days, epic weeks in the snow again! As is well known, the focus of the Snowpark Kaunertal is now on the unique spring weeks and this year the program is already making full use of it. Enjoy your time and take part in the numerous events.

OBERLAND TOUR STOP
Oberland Tourstop Bezirksmeisterschaften 2024
On the same day, the freestyle locals compete against each other as part of the Oberland Tour (district freestyle championship) and have a chance of getting a place in the district squad. The boys and girls can put their skills to the test in various categories in the multi-faceted Snowpark Kaunertal.

SHREDLIFE – GAUNERSHRED 2024
Snowboard & Freeski Contest for everybody
We are opening the Spring Classics with an event that has been very close to our hearts for a long time. Crooks Shred from “Shredlife” – THE contest for everyone. This year, the “shredlife” association is once again inviting you to the freestyle contest “Gaunershred” in the Snowpark Kaunertal in the form of a jam session with participants in various categories. The focus is on having fun and exchanging ideas with other riders. Since all categories race at the same time, it is more of a collaboration and allows for mutual inspiration.

OPEN FACES
1* FWT Qualifier / 2* FWT Junior
Season ender of the Open Faces Freeride Tour
True to our motto “park is everwhere”, there will be a freeride special on the Kaunertal Glacier on the first weekend this year. An OPEN FACES Freeride Series Contest is taking place for the first time and thus combines the elements of the Kaunertal Glacier. Freeriding in the backcountry paired with freestyle elements – this is what the glacier is well known for. The Open Faces 1* FWT Qualifier Contest is the ideal stage to get a taste of contests. In addition to the 1* competition for adults, a 1* junior contest will also be held. It’s not as easy and cheesy as the Park Sessions – registration at www.open-faces.com is necessary to take part. We look forward to the shredders with the even wider skis.
WE DO IT AGAIN!
The internationally famous Kaunertal Roadgap will once again be staged in a very special way this year. At the Downdays Gaptastic Voyage Invitational Days 2.0 between April 17th and 20th, international top riders will once again make the special roadgap setup unsafe. You can drop by at any time and watch the top stars.

BANKED SLALOM KAUNERTAL

THE SNAKE RUN IS BACK
The Banked Slalom Kaunertal will also take place this year as an annual fixture and final stop of the “Banked Slalom Tirol” series. Even if the time is taken, the focus is on having fun together in the steep curves. Participants have the opportunity to win in both the individual categories and the family category.
The following categories are divided:
- Kids <13 years
- Youth 13-17 years
- Open 18-99 years
- Legends >40 years
- Snowskate
- Family (1 child + 1 adult)

FIS SKI SLOPESTYLE KAUNERTAL
BEST FREESTYLE SKIERS AS GUESTS IN THE SNOWPARK
The Snowpark Kaunertal has been the European Cup venue for both snowboard and freeski competitions several times. We are pleased that we are hosting a FIS SKI SLOPESTYLE this year. Together with Ski Austria, we welcome Europe’s best freeskiers and look forward to the event. The contest takes place during the week, so the restrictions for you are minimal. Come by and see the action on site.

UK SPRING BREAK IS BACK!
RIDE – TEST & CELEBRATE WITH THE BRITS!
After a break of several years, the legendary UK SPRING BREAK series landed back in Kaunertal last year. We are looking forward to welcoming “the Brits” again this season. UK SPRING BREAK is not only a “get together” for British retailers but also a meeting point for international snowboarders and brands who extensively test the latest material in the Kaunertal Snow Park and on the slopes. Take the chance and show what you’re made of on the rails and boxes – Henrieke has her finger on the shutter and tries to capture your best moments. Whether for a new profile picture, a portfolio for a sponsor request or an action photo for mom – she got it! The images will then be made available to all of you for download.

Grande Finale der Spring Classics 2024
The idea of the MBM brand shooting is that photographers fill their archives before the start of the season with a good portion of good shots with the latest equipment and the team riders. So be there when the coolest brands and their local team riders hit the park. This is definitely the end of the season together with your Shred Buddies on the Kaunertal Glacier before we go into the summer break!
