Temperatures are rising, snow is getting slushy, season is coming to an end – our cue to experience epic days, epic weeks in the snow once again!
This year the Spring Classics offers a mix of revived classics as well as new events and make our snowboard and freeski hearts beat faster. Which is why we can’t help but call them – the greatest classics since years.

DOWNDAYS X KAUNERTAL
WE DO IT AGAIN!
The internationally famous Kaunertal Roadgap will also be staged in a very special way this year. At the Downdays Gaptastic Voyage Invitational Days 2.0 from April 12-14th some international top riders will hit the special roadgap setup. You can stop by anytime and watch the top stars.
Even better!
On Sunday, April 23th, the GV Public Cash 4 Tricks Session with all the stars will take place in the park. Watch out the flags and girls and boys!
Be there and show them who really deserves the cash.

Oberland Tourstop Bezirksmeisterschaften 2023
On the same day, the freestyle locals compete against each other as part oft he Oberland Tour (district freestyle championship) and have a chance to secure a place in the district squad.
The boys and girls can demonstrate their skills in various categories in the multi-faceted Snowpark Kaunertal.

SHREDLIFE – GAUNERSHRED 2023
Snowboard & Freeski Contest for everyone
This year, the „shredlife“ club invites again to the freestyle contest in Snowpark Kaunertal held as a jam session with participants in various categories.
The focus is on having fun and exchanging ideas with other riders. Since all categories ride at the same time, it is more of a togetherness and enables mutual inspiration.

BANKED SLALOM TIROL FINALE
“Be part of the 2nd banked slalom Kaunertal and the finals of the Tyrolean banked series”
At the second stop of this year’s BANKED SLALOM TIROL SERIES, it’s time for fast turns through the banks and makes one dream of surfing. The snakerun turned out as a popular format in the previous year and enables participants in 5 categories to win the 2nd banked slalom in Kaunertal.
Following categories are provided:
– Kids <13 years
– Youth 11-18 years
– Adult + 18 years
– Legends + 40 years
– Snowskate

UK SPRING BREAK IS BACK!
RIDE – TEST & CELEBRATE WITH THE BRITS!
After a few years break we are really looking forward to the return of the legendary UK SPRING BREAK series. UK Spring Break is not only a „get together“ for British retailers, but also a meeting place for international snowboarders and brands, who are able to extensively test the latest equipment in the Snowpark Kaunertal. You are cordially invited to test together and ride in the park and on the slopes.

Public & brands shooting days
The first Monster Session took place back in 1999. The idea was that photographers shoot their archives before the start of the season with a good portion of good shots with the latest equipment and the team riders. This concept will be followed this year with a “soft version”. On top the event will be open for you, because your shots will be available for free on Snowboarder MBM and our site. So get your cover picture and be there.
