Spring Break, Champion Jibs, GAME of go-shred and much more
For the kickoff of this year’s Spring Classics, the Snowpark Kaunertal belongs to the Tyrolians. On April 10th the Bezirks Freestylechampionships Oberlandtour 2016 takes place in the park. At this contest, shredders from all ages can show off their freestyle skills and convince the judges with their talent.
From April 22nd-24th it’s Champion Jibs time! The HSM Campion Jibs are the snowboard championships of the Hessian snowboard federation. Sounds more serious than it actually is, because for the Hessians fun stands above anything else!
From April 30th to May 5th the Spring Break is taking place at the Snowpark Kaunertal. A whole week full of shredding and fun! You can test next season’s boards for free and compete in numerous events, such as the DC Rail Jam on May 1st, the Dragon Methodical Madness on May 2nd and the Monster Side Hit on May 3rd.
On May 14th the boys from go-shred are back on the Kaunertal Glacier with their GAME of go-shred. In the usual go-shred style, there will be numerous challenges, where the aim is to improve your shredding skills. From a highest ollie contest, a duck walk race to a pole throwing challenge and the WUB Skatehalle SNOW SKATE award – there will be something for everyone!
You have to be in the Snowpark Kaunertal on May 21st, because on that day it’s the Prime Sports Shred Day! Get ready for a weekend together with the crew of Prime Skiing and Prime Snowboarding! You can look forward to finest freestyle action including free photo- and video shoots in the park, jam sessions and a hearty BBQ.
Everything has an end, unfortunately the Spring Classics as well! If you want to shred the perfectly shaped park one last time, the 29th of May is THE day. If you want to take a rest between the lines, you’ll find your spot in the sunny park base, where we will heat up the grill and offer you a free BBQ.
So take some time off and book your trip to the Kaunertal Glacier, because there’s no better way to welcome spring!
