Dear park rats!

Due to the current COVID-19 situation and the increasing number of infections in all european countries – we have to temporarily stop the park operation with a heavy heart!
However, this is an essential measure to ensure the health of everyone. The comeback is in our all hands! Avoid excessive social contacts, go out just if you feel healthy and heed all publicly recommended measures! The faster that is implemented now, the sooner everything can normalize. Fingers crossed! 🤞
The official measures must now also be followed and we fully accept these decisions.
Apart from this extremely difficult situation, we remain positive and hope being able to open the setup at a later date. keep you posted!

What the Spring Classics are in spring, the #FALLRUNS in the Snowpark Kaunertal are in autumn. In this particularly challenging year, we are all the more happy to be together on the mountain – to experience nature and of course to “shred” the 2 km long #naturerun – Snowpark Kaunertal. With distance and personal responsibility, nothing stands in the way of a day in the park!

The Park

The park is already “bigger than ever” at the opening this year and, depending on the snowfall, additional elements and kickers will be added. The run again leads directly from the Karlesjochbahn mountain station over various sections down to the main part – the well-known Half-Mile Jib Line with multi-obstacles and endless possibilities. The Soundbox Park Base provides you with fat beats and invites you to chill out on beautiful days. The usual Kaunertal “laid back atmosphere” included!

ELOOA SEASON OPENING CAMP

Just in time for the start of the season, Elooa, together with NITRO Pro team rider Eero Ettala and several professional snowboard coaches, invites you to the “Season Opening Camp” in the Snowpark Kaunertal. Look forward to a week full of action, coaching, photo shoots, camp vibes and a good atmosphere together with a motivated snowboard community! With countless new lines and different sections, the Naturerun 3.0 offers the ideal conditions to shred yourself for the coming season! On top of that, camp participants can test the latest NITRO SNOWBOARDS products for the coming season for free and get the best advice! Like every season, we open the winter season with you and a real highlight at our Season Opening Camp in the Kaunertal: Experience an eventful weekend with snowboard professional Eero Ettala!

GOT-IT NUCKLE BATTLE  – FINALLY!

After 2 rejections (weather and corona) – fingers crossed – that it finally works!
Looking for innovative tricks and styles – a new trend awaits you in both freeskiing and snowboarding: Knuckle tricks! This trend is so big that the X-Games Aspen 2020 introduced the so-called “Knuckle Huck” as an individual discipline. Be there when we bring this trend to the Kaunertal!

Longest Handdrag (2 attempts/competitor)
Craziest Pretzel Butter (2 attempts/competitor)
Hardest technical overall trick (2 attempts/competitor)

PUBLIC SHOOTING DAY powered by SNOWBOARDER MBM

The legendary snowboarder MBM comes to the park with her photographer and photographs everything that moves stylish and straight on the rail and in the air.

GRANDE FINALE – RIDERS CUP TEAM BATTLE – KAUNERTAL X ALPSPITZPARK NESSELWANG

“Fingers crossed” that it finally comes to the final. Due to the cancellation in spring, the teams of the not really serious battle have to warm up again
drive … The motivation is high after all, it’s finally about the big prize money pot and of course the golden banana (pronounced honor) of the two parks.
As with the first time, the clicks and likes of the edits of the day published by the team will decide between victory and defeat.
