After 14 years the Chill and Destroy tour ends! With the FINAL SHRED on the 22nd of April at the KAUNERTAL GLETSCHER, the Slopestyle Tour will take place … for now!
There are always and everywhere changes – unfortunately also with us! As the late announcement of the Chill and Destroy Tour 2017 in January was to be noted, this winter could only take place with great efforts again a contest series. Tour founder and caD CEO Frank “Facy” Knürr, will retire from the event business after more than 15 years. After a total of 14 years of CaD Tour and more than 135 Slopestyle events it will be over – for the moment.
All the more we are delighted that at the end of the 14th Chill and Destroy Tour with the FINAL SHRED on the KAUNERTAL GLETSCHER a real crash can be fired. The fun park is known for a top quality and thus guaranteed a worthy Final. The exact setup is fixed to the contest – the bold parking plan you will find and the “Park” section on this website.
THE FINAL SHRED offers a platform for participants in the following categories: for the snowboarders it is the Men, Girls, Kids U15
And Groms / Kids U12, who ride for points and the Tagessieg. In the Freeskiern, Men, Girls and Kids U12 can compete for the victory. So it will be exciting for all classes!
For the winners there are besides prize-money from the tour sponsors PICTURE and TSG also a prize money in the amount of a total of 1,000, – US- $, which is divided into the main categories (SB Men, Girls, Freeski Men). So you can look forward to the big finale and who knows maybe one or the other rider who has already rocked the park with us in the past is one of the big names of the business.
