What we call SPRING CLASSICS in springtime, that’s the FALLRUNS during fall time here at Snowpark Kaunertal.
After the first highlight of the Snowpark Kaunertal Season, the 33rd KTO 2018 with the presentation of the NEW SNOWPARK was a fully success and since the summits getting more and more covered with the white gold the rising motivation for more Snowpark action is unstoppable!
Even before the winter reaches the other snow parks of the Alps the Snowpark Kaunertal is coming around with the FALLRUNS 2018 – the second highlight of the season!
For full 8 Weeks long the NEW Snowpark a.ka.a “THE NATURE RUN” is waiting to be shredded day after day, perfectly in shape and constantly upgraded!
All this rounded up with a bunch of sick events for everyone so that nobody will get bored – day by day!
THE PARK
Since the Kaunertal Opening 2018 the Gondola “Karlesjochbahn” will bring you all the way up to the entry into the NEW Snowpark heaven – No more annoying T-Bar rides! That’s where you find the “Drop In” into the almost endless run a.k.a. “The Nature Run”!
Why “Nature Run”?
>> That’s simple: the new park combines nature and Snowpark to a smooth, creative and flowy run, which leads through different specific sections.
In the new Run, which feels endless, everyone comes at his expense- the new park will offer endless possibilities with a mixture of creative snow and nature features as well as Jibs and Jumps for all riding levels!
The park will lead you back down to the station of the gondola where you can get to the top in no time and super comfortable, or log in to the FREE WIFI to post your latest #NatureRun to Social Media. Don’t forget to tag us @Snowpark_Kaunertal for a chance to get featured on our channel.
You can look forward that over the whole autumn there will be new upgrades and improvements in the whole Snowpark recently!

1) “GAUNERSHRED” by Shredlife e.V. – SAT. 27.10.2018 –> SAT 24th of NOVEMBER
After a creative time-off the legendary „Chill and Destroy Tour“ is back as „Shred Life e.V.“ with some innovations and celebrating a COMEBACK here at Snowpark Kaunertal during the Fall Runs 2018. With a jam session like contest format the focus will be on pushing the young Slopestyle generation in Skiing and Snowboarding but also on bringing some exchange between young and old. Primarily this contest is all about the fun and the passion for “shredding” and to collect some easy and chilled contest experiences. As the first stop for the season the participants have the chance to qualify for the final tour stop at the end of the season in the categories Groms (U12 & U15), Men and Women.

2) Elooa Season Opening Camp – WED. 31.10. – SUN. 04.11.2018
Just in time fort he start oft he new season Elooa and the NITRO Snowboards Pro team rider Eero Ettala plus many professional snowboard coaches are inviting for the „ELOOA Season Opening Camp“ at Snowpark Kaunertal. You can look forward to one week full of action, coaching, photoshootings, camp vibes and good mood with a super motivated snowboard community! The brandnew Snowpark Kaunertal with countless new lines and different sections offers perfect and countless possibilities for the perfect warm up shred inte the new season. On top the participants can test the newest NITRO SNOWBOARD gear for the whole week long.

3) GOT-IT Public Shooting Day – SUN, 18.11.2018
To capture the first new tricks oft he season, the GOT IT crew will be around at Snowpark Kaunertal on November 18th to shoot different features and kickers in the park during the whole day. The best fotos of all participants will be posted on facebook, where everybody can download their action shots for free. So the perfect opportunity to work on your shred portfolio.

3) Students Snow Day by „Die Zeitlos“ – SUN. 18.11.2018
After the first „Students Snow Day“ this spring was a full success, Innsbruck’s students magazine „Die Zeitlos“ is inviting for a round two during the Kaunertal Fall Runs 2018. Right in time for the upcoming winter and after the first stressful Weeks at University they offer a perfect stress-free and funny day in the snow to all the snow enthusiastic students in Innsbruck that makes you forget all the study-stress for a day! The “Zeitlos-Shuttle” will bring you from the Center of Innsbruck straight to the Kaunertal Glacier – and back to Innsbruck after a great day! No need to care about anything – and all this for an absolutely students-friendly price of 29€ including shuttle AND liftpass!

5) Fall Finals (Weekend) – 08./09.12.2018
After 8 Weeks full send the Snowpark Kaunertal has to say goodbye and start into the winter break to get prepared for an energetic Spring Classics comeback with a killer setup next year! Like in the well-known Snowpark Kaunertal manner – every goodbye is a reason to tune up tot he fullest one more time. So that’s why we would like to invite all the motivated riders to celebrate the last Weekend of the Fall Runs 2018, the „Fall Finals“ with us! Lets shred together, battle each other, hang out and party together! We prepared a pleasant program to get prepared fort he upcoming winter.

It’s getting cold and winterly up here on the glacier and in Snowpark Kaunertal. But we make it cozy for you one more time and heat up the last Weekend of the Fall Runs one more time for you with fire barrel, hot wine/punch and some delicious Maroni. Saturday and Sunday from 12-4 at the Parkbase – first come first serve!
- Kaunertal Rail Masters
Again we want to nominate the „Kaunertal Rail Master“ of the Fall Runs 2018. Like we started on the final WE of the Spring Classics earlier this year we would like to end up the Fall Runs as well with the „Kaunertal Rail Masters“ with 1000€ Cash in the pot fort he best rail tricks! On top of that you can set up the season-goals for the „want to learn“ rail tricks, which you hopefully fulfill until the next „Kaunertal Rail Masters“ in Spring!
